Tamba Lamin started operating in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in Bo, Sierra Leone, providing Desktop Publishing services including CD burning.

Founded Memaa Information Technology to create a home base for Microsoft Office Packages and MicroStation. Expanded to include Internet Café and telephone services.
