Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & welcome
Arrive at Freetown International (FNA), private transfer to Lumley Beach hotel, welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Freetown city orientation
Cotton Tree, King Jimmy Market, National Museum, panoramic city tour.
Days 3–4 – Bunce Island & Krio communities
Boat to Bunce Island fortress with historian. Krio community visits and storytelling sessions.
Days 5–6 – Western Area Peninsula
Lumley, Sussex, Tokeh and York fishing villages. Beach time and seafood dinners.
Day 7 – Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Day trip up the hills to the chimpanzee sanctuary; rainforest hike.
Days 8–9 – Mende & Temne ancestral visits
Two-night home-stay or boutique-lodge experience. Traditional ceremonies and elder conversations.
Day 10 – Departure
Closing breakfast, free morning, transfer to FNA for departure.
